A sample shirt. Version of a main yellow shirt manufactured by Errea for 2018/19. Unlike the version used for the season this has the manufacturer’s and sponsor’s logos screen printed, a stitched club badge, the narrow white edging omitted from the vertical green band on the side seams, and orange triangles omitted from the patterning on the sleeves and shoulders. It carries no player’s number or name. On the final used version the sponsors logo is plain white rather than a white grey mixing on this sample. It is probable that it was a sample produced as a design evolved. (NWHHT:23411)
A sample shirt. Version of a main yellow shirt. It has not been accurately dated but seems most akin to that used in 2013/14. Manufacturer Errea. Size ‘L”. It has short green sleeves, a yellow round neckline edged win white piping and with a central green section. It carries no player’s number or name. A sample shirt, main colour yellow, with a round green neckline with white detailing, long green sleeves carrying 4 white chevrons at the top of the sleeves and a narrow yellow band terminating the sleeves. Size ‘M’ (Europe). City’s badge is carried to the left of the wearer’s chest and the manufacturer ‘Hummel’ is identified on the opposite side. It carries no player number or name on the rear. The design is very similar to the short-sleeved version produced by Hummel for Hitchin Town in 2021/22. It is assumed to have been a sample produced for assessment by City. (NWHHT:23419)

This version has long yellow sleeves with green cuffs whereas the shirt in general use for this season had short sleeves with green, yellow, and white bands on the hems. A sample shirt. A sample shirt. Version of a main yellow shirt manufactured by Errea. Size ‘L. The upper part of the main body of the shirt is yellow fading to green below by incorporating green triangles of increasing size. The sleeves are green tapering over the shoulders and with a narrow yellow band on the hems. The ‘v’ neckline is green with yellow detailing centrally at the front. It carries no player’s number or name. It is assumed to have been a sample produced for assessment by City before a possible use in 2017/18 or 2018/19. (NWHHT:23423)
A sample shirt. Version of a main yellow shirt manufactured by Errea for 2018/19. Size ‘M’. The shirt used for the season carried a broad green vertical band on the side seam; this version repeats the triangular patterning used on the shoulders and sleeves on the upper part of the side seams. This version also has the manufacturer’s and sponsor’s logos screen printed rather than hot pressed. It carries no player’s number or name. It is assumed to have been a sample produced as a design evolved. (NWHHT:23424)
Subsidiary shirt, origin not known. It could be from Colney kit stock/manufactures sample /replica from Norwich City’s Canary store for supporters to purchase. (NWHHT:27445)

Sample shirt for season 2004/5. This was an unused sample to enable the wording with the crest to be considered. It was decided not to proceed with that version of the design (NWHHT:2849)

Manufacturer Mitre. This in a similar style as the main shirt used in this season but is an unused alternative design. Size ’42-44’. The sleeve trim has a yellow band edged narrowly in black & the collar has a black stripe with the manufacturers’ logo in yellow & narrow yellow edging. The shirt has no Premier League logo or number. (NWHHT:2887)

Variation to subsidiary kit. Manufacturer ‘Xara’; Size ‘L’, mainly green with seams finished in black; club crest sponsor ‘Proton’; ‘v’-neckline in yellow short sleeves ending with stripes of yellow no competition logo on sleeves; no number or name on rear. This was from a small batch produced for promotional purposes & features the Proton logo rather than Lotus, a reversal of what usually featured on the main kit & subsidiary kit, because of Delia Smith’s preference for wearing green rather than yellow in photographs & the sponsors’ wish to give prominence to the Proton name. (NWHHT:2888)

The date of this shirt is uncertain and has been estimated. The shirt was produced as a possible design which was not adopted. Mainly yellow with three broad green undulating horizontal stripes across the upper front ‘v’-neck with single button fastening club crest; ‘Asics’ embossed in black on the front; small ‘Asics’ logo embossed in black high on the back. (NWHHT:2903)
